In November last year, when the entire cryptocurrency market and the blockchain industry were caught in a bear market, ArcBlock launched the "2019 Blockchain Odyssey" in early 2019 in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing. During the campaign, the lecture tour focused on blockchain and developer education and "The Blockchain Technology Guide" was presented in each city. Tyr Chen, VP of Engineering at Arcblock, initiated the thinking about the nature of the block-chain technology of “publicly verifiable” and steps to form the blockchain technology. Then he introduced several early pioneering blockchain projects: Bitcoin as a decentralized ledger, decentralized computing Ethereum, and IPFS for decentralized file services. He also demonstrated how to develop a decentralized app on Ethereum to reveal Forge Framework that is designed by ArcBlock.

Nowadays, Forge Blockchain Application Framework and Forge SDK have been developing for more than half a year, and ArcBlock's application development platform built around Blockchain 3.0 is becoming better. In this process, the team has been continuously evolving, receiving feedback, learning, and sharing what we have learned in our ArcBlock Technical Learning Series. Although most of the content about the Forge framework can be found in the official training channel, the community users' frequently ask to hold a one-stop, multi-disciplinary lecture similar to the "blockchain technology guide." With the help of friends, our community, the Chain News, Blockmanity, and NIO Auto, ArcBlock is launching the "2019 Blockchain Odyssey Beijing Station: ABT Forge + DID, Dapp Development Made Easy" on July 13th.

As in November last year, the slogan of the event was: Don’t panic! It has two meanings - 1) don't follow the fluctuation of the currency price, and 2) don't lose the research and enterprising spirit of the technology because of the bear market.
